Everything about Providenciales International Airport totally explained

}}
Providenciales International Airport is the main international airport serving the Turks and Caicos Islands, an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. It is operated by Providenciales Airport Company. The territory's other international airport is JAGS McCartney International Airport on Grand Turk Island.
   There are plans for the Turks and Caicos Islands Government to buy back the airport for a sum of approximately $75 million dollars which would be bought with money from a "special loan". The Deputy Premier stated that a number of airlines operating wide-bodied aircraft expressed an interest in beginning operations into the country. They plan to build a new terminal and lengthen the runway, which currently stands at 7,598 ft long.
